What I love about this cookie, other than that classic chocolate chip cookie taste, is that it doesn’t harden over time! These cookies can last up to 5 days still tasting fresh and without feeling you’re biting into a rock. Another desirable trait this cookie contains is that it actually spreads out a tremendous amount while baking; the cookie rises but when cooled down it sinks right back down. As far as ingredients go for the perfect cookie, I recommend cutting chocolate from the bar rather than pre-shaped chocolate chips. After many trial bakes I’ve realized freshly cut chocolate melts much easier resulting in a more gooey chocolate chip. This cookie is almost foolproof and I can guarantee each bite will be filled with melted chocolate and the addictive brown sugar cookie base.
