Best Chocolate Chip Cookie

What I love about this cookie, other than that classic chocolate chip cookie taste, is that it doesn’t harden over time! These cookies can last up to 5 days still tasting fresh and without feeling you’re biting into a rock. Another desirable trait this cookie contains is that it actually spreads out a tremendous amount while baking; the cookie rises but when cooled down it sinks right back down. As far as ingredients go for the perfect cookie, I recommend cutting chocolate from the bar rather than pre-shaped chocolate chips. After many trial bakes I’ve realized freshly cut chocolate melts much easier resulting in a more gooey chocolate chip. This cookie is almost foolproof and I can guarantee each bite will be filled with melted chocolate and the addictive brown sugar cookie base.

  1. Use the paddle attachment and combine sugars and butter
  2. Add in the egg amd vanilla till a drippy but fairly thick consistency
  3. Whisk the flour and baking soda then add it to the wet ingredients
  4. Add in the chocolate and cool in fridge for 25 minutes
  5. Scoop dough balls so its size is about 1 1⁄2 tbsp and spread them out on a silicone baking mat- these cookies will spread!!
  6. Bake for 15 minutes at 350- it may look underdone but they will set
